A clinically competent, Registered Nurse who is able to deliver care to patients aross the lifespan through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This position performs monitoring of employee injuries, new hire health screens, contract health screens and services, and is accountable for timely distribution and management of results to the appropriate company representative and/or regulatory agency.
Oversees and manages employee health and its components
Triages patients on walk ins or call ins
Performs injections per physician orders
Perform phlebotomy and monitor patient during procedure
Treats minor work injuries and refers to the supervising physician as appropriate
Monitors in stock medications for amount and out dated stock
Knowledge of commonly prescribed medications and injection meds and their administration and appropriateness
Transcribes and verifies physician orders in a timely manner and documents appropriately
Creates and maintains scheduling of workwise/employee health appointments
Other duties as assigned
