Responsible for introducing CCS Medical services to patients while located on-site in the Physician office to sign them on to CCS Medical programs while establishing the best benefit for the patient. Assists with all customer service related functions in order to grow the business and create positive patient and Medical Supply relations. Provides an overview of CCS medicals service to those patients who are interested and referred by the physician or staff Presents and explains the patient consent letter to every patient before they begin assistance Assesses patients needs and coordinates with physicians orders and insurance plans Assists with product selection based on insurance coverage and patients needs. (Non-billable PAK will be available) Ensures accuracy of paperwork to reduce the need for multiple corrections. Ensures correct labs are drawn for those patients needing Pumps or CGMS. Manages the renewal process of the CCS Medical patients, making sure the renewals are completed correctly and returned in a timely manner. Upon approval from the patient, the in-house rep will complete as much of the sign-on process as possible for patients referred from the office Performs Patient Management while maintaining and promoting excellent patient relations Receives inbound calls from potential and existing patients Makes outbound calls to patients who have been referred to CCS Medical via the Medical Supply Liaison account Successfully meets and exceeds new patient sign-on goals for the account and Quality/Accuracy goals Maintains and promotes excellent patient relations Other possible responsibilities outside of the sign-on process: Provides training to the patients on the selected blood glucose meter Downloads patients blood glucose meter readings for documentation needs Works with the Chronic Care Consultants to ensure CCS Medical patient education programs are managed effectively
Bachelors Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university and three years of sales experience or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Must possess the ability to learn the basics of diabetes and how to sell products profitably. A demonstrated ability to perform a consultative sell as well as having fine-tuned presentation skills is a must. Ability to read and interpret documents such as print material, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of vendors or employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
