To provide Radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.
Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Must achieve registration within one year of graduation and Connecticut State License. 2 years X-Ray experience preferred.
Additional Job Requirements:
Connecticut Licensure in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Registered in Radiologic Technology; responsible for maintaining CE credits for ARRT and Connecticut Licensure For those technologists also trained in mammography, the following applies: Mammo requirements include specific training to include 40 hours of documented training in breast anatomy and physiology, positioning and compression, Mammography QA/QC, performance of a minimum of 25 mammography examinations under direct supervision of an appropriate MQSA qualified individual and at least 8 hours of training in digital mammography before beginning to use that modality independently. Continuing experience must include performing 200 mammography exams in a 24 month period, Continuing education must include earning at least 15 CEUs in a 36 month period
