An opportunity to learn about and participate in Clinical Drug Research, the X-Ray Technician will:
Coordinate and conduct research protocols in a manner that ensures quality, consistency, timliness, accuracy, and patient safety.
Establishes and maintains frequent face-to-face, written, and telephone contact with various persons involved in the study, including but not limited to the subjects, relatives/friends of the subjects, doctors, pharmaceutical sponsors, pharmacists and all levels of Research Centers staff.
Becomes thoroughly familiar with the protocol, case report form, informed consent, source documentation, patient diary (when applicable), and study medication(s) for the assigned research study.
Maintains all documentation/records for X-Ray services, including patient records, state compliance documentation, equipment maintenance/service records, and protocol specific documentation (as required).
Performs all radiologic procedures required by the department, following exam protocols on podiatric and dental patients. Completes paperwork and computer related duties.
Assists study doctors, and clinic personnel with radiologic services.
Maintains department facilities, records, equipment, and materials in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort, and safety of patients and staff.
Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular daily basis.
Keeps medical supplies current and replenished.
Processes film, evaluates for technical quality, accurate patient identification, and side labeling.
Maintain current status of professional license/certification (if applicable).

Current X-Ray certification required (ARRT Certification)
Graduate of accredited Radiological Technology Program
CPR certification preferred
