Area of responsibility:
Drive HUSA performance and achieve plan objectives by providing oversight of distributor management, retail execution, and team performance and development in assigned zone
Key Responsibilities:


Plan and prepare

  • Assign distributors and provide volume targets for Market Managers
  • Review and approve distributor business plans and budgets
  • Develop zone business plan and budget
  • Participate in the rationalization and selection of retail marketing programs to run in the region
  • Support preparations for distributor program execution
  • Provide input into channel strategy and standards development
  • Develop zone business plan and budget (see point #3 above)
Execute
  • Manage zone financials, including pricing and gross profits
  • Facilitate resolution of distributor and outlet issues
  • Meet face-to-face with distributors and retailers as appropriate
Measure and improve
  • Assess retail execution, including reviewing and synthesizing survey results
  • Assess zone performance across all channels and create a plan for improvements
People management
  • Build a team of direct reports consisting of Market Managers, and indirect Managers such as, On Premise Managers, Urban Managers. Off Premise managers: to manage relationships with distributors and important retail outlets
  • Guide activity of direct reports
  • Provide performance feedback and development plans to direct reports
  • Partner with NA on driving distribution and display with Key retailers.

Background / Experiences:
  • Clean driving record required
  • Experience working with beverage distribution models preferred
  • Exposure to category management preferred
  • Exposure to retail management preferred
  • Exposure to retail marketing preferred
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be willing to work in all environments in which HUSA conducts business (e.g., adult entertainment, casinos, liquor stores, sports bars)
  • People leadership experience required
  • Significant analytical experience required
  • Significant distributor management experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
