Position Summary:
Reporting to the Administrative Analyst Supervisor, the incumbent is primarily responsible for pick up, delivery, document preparation, and distribution of all charge documents from 15 locations throughout the medical center. This position will be responsible for Revenue Audit team members medical records requests and retrieval. The incumbent needs to be familiar with Alpha-Numeric filing and is responsible for the organization, filing, and copying of all charge documents as necessary. The incumbent will be responsible to retrieve information from the TDS/SMS computer system and perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:
Rate Minimum $15.13 Midpoint $18.16 Maximum $21.18

Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely alpha-numeric filing skills.

Daily pick-up of all charge documents from 15 areas throughout the medical center.

Effectively collects, compiles and assembles data from patient charge documents.

Effectively copies and distributes documents

Effectively uses all applicable computer software programs as needed or required to ensure accurate and timely delivery of work

Establishes and maintains effective filing systems

Files documents according to unit standards

Responsible for medical record requests and retrieval of information necessary for accurate charge capture.

Required Qualifications:
Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as assigned

Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a hospital setting

Knowledge of University policies and procedures
