eCommerce Product Owner/Business Analyst

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced commerce Product Owner to work with our client's Product Integration Team. This individual will work with a cross-functional product and development team to deliver high quality ecommerce payment acceptance products. The eCommerce Product Owner will be the functional expert for various eCommerce payment products and will serve as the point of contact between business units, development teams and IT.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in leading large and complex eCommerce Scrum projects, and will possess the skills to interact, negotiate, and work with a broad range of personalities and functions, including engineers, project managers, quality assurance, scrum masters as well as Product Visionaries. Experience leading a combination of local, remote and offshore teams is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop user stories using interviews, document analysis, story workshops, site visits, business process descriptions, and prior experience.
Lead local, remote and offshore scrum development teams.
Successfully lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Provide input to and review of all project documentation.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Work with users to determine requirements for new features/functions including user interfaces.
Work with developers to define business and processing logic.
Act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
Ensure, through acceptance criteria and testing, that iterations deliver the desired functionality with high quality.
Provides day-to-day tactical objectives, and provides quick, JIT decisions to system level questions and defect triage.
Provides user story and defect backlog grooming.
Prioritizes development iterations.
Leads the release planning process.

Job Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Bachelors Degree - preferably in Business, Finance, or Computer Science.

Required Knowledge:
Proven Servant Leader within an eCommerce environment.
Excellent Agile project delivery skills, with at least 5 years experience participating in winning Scrum projects.
Excellent communication and technical skills.
Experience leading local, remote and/or offshore Scrum teams.
Strong understanding of various payment mechanisms: credit card, debit card, ACH, and emerging payment options.
Strong understanding of web based payment platforms.
Strong understanding of browser communication and security practice.
.Net Development Environment.
Certified Scrum Product Owner.
Proficient with entire MS Office suite including Visio.
Familiar with web facing payment gateway integration tools like, Braintree and other similar products.

Desired Knowledge:
Proficient with Rally.
Proficient in SQL.
Familiarity with Java.
Familiarity with higher education systems such as SunGard, Datatel, and Power Campus.
Understanding of PCI DSS requirements.

Experience Required:
Five or more years of Product Owner experience in an eCommerce environment.
Five or more years of experience in the payments/merchant acquiring industry.

Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers and subject matter experts.
S trong organizational skills including the ability to utilize project management techniques to drive projects to completion and track issues and actions as necessary.
