Impac Mortgage has launched a new retail branch model called Impac READ (Real Estate Agent Direct) that is focused on the purchase market and will derive the majority of its business through cultivating referral relationships with real estate agents.
The Loan Officer will be utilize existing real estate agent contacts to source leads for purchase mortgage clients. We will also provide you with additional leads, tools, and training to increase your business.
We have entered into a partnership with a software developer that provides our loan officers with high quality, EXCLUSIVE buyer and seller leads and marketing tools. Skills:
The skills and duties, responsibilities and expectations for this position:
  • Understand the company culture and exhibit appropriate professional behavior to co-workers, reffor all subordinate staff
  • Possess experience in residential mortgage origination, especially the cultivation of real estate agent referral relationships
  • Demonstrate skill as a team player and possible mentor to others
  • Establish individual goals and execute plans to achieve those goals
  • Develop and nurture networking relationships within the real estate and mortgage community in your area so that referral sources can be identified
  • Utilize company provided leads and referrals to identify potential new clients
  • Develop independence so managers can focus their energy on new recruits and marketing that will strengthen the branch and the Impac brand
  • Be responsible for meeting agreed upon minimum loan volume, unit volume, close ratios, lock pull through and other measures that will be delineated in the future
  • Provide reports on your activities and results to appropriate branch and regional management
  • Conduct yourself in accordance with company compliance guidelines and all state and federal regulations

Compensation & Benefits
This position includes a comprehensive pay and benefits component. All Loan Officers receive a draw, plus a basis points commission on the loans originated and funded. We also offer per file bonuses based upon monthly volume. There is also a very strong health insurance policy (heavily subsidized), vision insurance (subsidized), dental insurance (subsidized), life insurance (free), and the ability to purchase other forms of insurance for a spouse, life partner, and/or children.
We permit loan officers to work from home and we also assist in setting up desk rental agreements with local real estate broker shops. Where we have branch offices, you will also be provided with a great environment to work with first class equipment and support.
The Loan Officers also have access to an assistant and there is a budget for local networking. This is not a net branch model where your P & L will be dinged and nicked for every resource you use. Impac has a full HR team, full legal/compliance team, full marketing team, and dedicated regional and corporate branch support. All of these people and teams have one objective: to support the loan officers and their effort to grow the presence and visibility of the Impac Mortgage name and brand.
