Rony Kahan co-founded Indeed in 2004 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Indeed. In addition, Rony is a Board Director of Recruit Holdings, Indeed’s parent company. Rony served as President/Chairman of Indeed until 2012 and CEO until 2013. Prior to Indeed, in 1998, Rony co-founded jobsinthemoney.com, the leading job site for financial professionals, which he sold to Financial News in 2003. Prior to that he worked in technology consulting at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Rony holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD and a BSc Honors in Economics from Texas A&M.
“Deko” Hisayuki Idekoba is the President, CEO, and Representative Director of the Board of Recruit Holdings and currently serves as Board Director of Indeed. Before being named CEO of Recruit, he was Executive Vice President and COO, responsible for overseeing the company’s overall business operations, as well as Head of its HR Technology business and RGF Staffing B.V. Chairman. Deko led the acquisition of Indeed in 2012 and later served as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from 2013 to 2019.
Deko joined Recruit in 1999 and, over the course of two decades, led the digital transformation of numerous Recruit Group businesses. He was responsible for transitioning print publications and marketing into online businesses across various sectors including travel, beauty, and dining. As a result of his success, Deko was appointed Corporate Executive Officer of Recruit in 2012 and Director of the Board in 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Waseda University.
Chris Hyams is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Indeed. Chris joined Indeed in 2010 as VP of Product, responsible for technology strategy and innovation. In 2015, Chris became President, assuming additional responsibility for Indeed’s revenue growth and client success. Chris was appointed Indeed CEO in April 2019, leading Indeed’s mission to help people get jobs.
Before Indeed, Chris was Founder of B-Side, a technology platform for independent film analytics, marketing, and distribution. Prior to B-Side, he was Vice President of Engineering at Trilogy Software. Chris holds a Masters in Computer Science from Rice University, and an A.B. in Architecture from Princeton University.
Lowell Brickman is General Counsel and Secretary at Indeed. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s compliance with law and ensuring the company’s risk profile is acceptable to the Indeed Board of Directors and shareholders. He also oversees a team of lawyers and legal specialists.
Lowell has over 25 years of in-house legal experience, focused on the Internet regulatory environment, international law and tax issues.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
Nolan Farris is Chief Revenue Officer of Indeed. In this role, Nolan oversees strategy and operations for the company’s sales and client success teams focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Nolan joined Indeed in 2008 as Vice President of Sales, responsible for building Indeed’s global sales team and growing its market share around the world. Nolan has focused much of his timebuilding an environment where his team can thrive, helping hundreds of sales representatives evolve in their careers. Under Nolan’s leadership, Indeed’s Sales team was awarded Dale Carnegie’s prestigious Leadership Award, recognizing organizations that put their people first.
Before Indeed, Nolan spent nine years at Yahoo! in various sales and sales management roles in Boston, MA, and New York, NY. He also spent two years with the Change Management HR team at Accenture in Boston, MA, and New York, NY. Nolan holds a bachelor’s degree from Union College. He resides in Southern Connecticut with his wife and four children.
Andrew Hudson is Chief Technology Officer and General Manager for Job Seeker at Indeed. In this role, Andrew leads the Search Quality, Software Engineering, Product and Data teams that focus on technological advancements for job seekers within the company. Andrew is Indeed’s chief advocate for job seekers, ensuring that Indeed puts job seekers first in every decision we make about our products and our business.
Beginning his tenure in 2005, Andrew was one of Indeed’s first employees and shaped Indeed’s data driven culture. He was instrumental in the creation of Indeed’s job search, logging and analytics technology.
Andrew taught himself how to write computer programs at a young age. Prior to Indeed, he successfully participated in international programming contests. He reached the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals within his first two years at college and coached two teams to the World Finals. He then won the prestigious Programming Contest at the International Conference on Functional Programming in 2003.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
Maggie Hulce is Senior Vice President and General Manager for Enterprise at Indeed. In her role, she focuses on shaping product and go-to-market priorities for Indeed’s largest global customers.
Before joining Indeed, Maggie was the Director of Sales Strategy & Operations at Google, focused on Google’s largest advertising customers in the Americas. Prior to Google, Maggie spent years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving clients in the retail and CPG industries.
Maggie graduated cum laude from Harvard with a BA in Economics and received her MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jessica Jensen is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Indeed. She is responsible for Brand, Communication, Product, Acquisition, and Experience Marketing globally.
Before joining Indeed, Jessica was CMO at OpenTable. Prior to Open Table, she was Head of Products, Platforms & Insights for Business Marketing at Facebook. She has held leadership roles at Apple and Yahoo! and started her professional career at Boston Consulting Group.
Jessica holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Masters in International International Relations from U.C.S.D. and a B.A. from Amherst College.
Raj Mukherjee is Senior Vice President and General Manager for SMB at Indeed. Raj is responsible shaping product and go-to-market priorities for Indeed’s many small to medium business customers globally.
Prior to joining Indeed, Raj was Senior Vice President of Product at GoDaddy and responsible for helping their 14 million customers build successful businesses online. He has significant experience with SMB customers and led multiple successful acquisitions for the company.
Previously, Raj worked on the Enterprise Platform team at Google and led Product Management for Domains for Google Apps and Google Drive for enterprises. He was also Sr. Product manager for the Online Services division at Microsoft with responsibility for product and business strategy for Office 365.
Raj holds a joint MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley & the Columbia Business School. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from India.
Takashi Nishimura is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Staffing Solutions at Indeed. As a member of the senior leadership team, Takashi oversees new staffing solutions and services, including Indeed Staff and Syft. He focuses on new business lines and innovation across the Human Resources industry.
Takashi has been a member of the Indeed Board since 2014 and a member of RGF Staffing Board since 2018. He contributes to several projects across Recruit Holdings and RGF Staffing.
Takashi joined Recruit in 1997 and was responsible for leading the Business Management office at Recruit Holdings.
Takashi holds a Bachelor of Arts from Doshisha University. He was a fellow of the School of Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Hiroaki Ogata is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Indeed. In this position, he is responsible for coordinating and executing all of Indeed’s acquisition and investment activities.
Prior to Indeed, Ogata-san served as Corporate Vice President, Global Alliance and Corporate Development at Recruit Holdings, Indeed’s parent company. He has a proven track record of successful acquisitions for various Recruit business units, including the 2012 acquisition of Indeed.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tohoku University.
Paul Wolfe serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Indeed, with a focus on growing, developing and engaging Indeed’s talent and nurturing the company culture. In this role, Paul oversees a multi-disciplined HR group that includes HR Business Partners, Talent Attraction, Employee Development, Total Rewards, Inclusion, HR Analytics, HR Operations and Employee Experience. Paul sets the talent strategy at Indeed to ensure all current and future business needs are met. He is passionate about creating an environment where the business can thrive and where employees can be their true, authentic selves each day.
Prior to Indeed, Paul served as a vice president and senior vice president of a number of well-known companies, including Match.com, Orbitz, Conde Nast and Ticketmaster. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. He lives with his husband and their dogs in New York.
