Attention to detail is the ability to accurately and thoroughly accomplish tasks, while maintaining a high level of quality. Whether it’s tracking important deadlines, catching critical errors, or properly assessing new circumstances, attention to detail skills are highly desirable, and hiring employees with these traits is crucial.
But how do you know if a candidate is the detail-oriented employee you’re looking for? Beyond reading through buzzwords on a resume, the attention to detail test will reveal critical insights about a candidate’s suitability for the job and help you identify and hire a focused, careful, and meticulous employee.
This attention to detail assessment also predicts a job candidate’s ability to:
