When Ava joined Indeed shortly after graduating from college, she quickly found her place in Client Success. Over the past nine years, she has navigated various roles within Enterprise Client Success, ultimately stepping into a leadership position where she empowers her team to help clients achieve their hiring goals. Ava's journey at Indeed reflects not only her professional growth but also the company’s supportive culture that prioritizes employee wellbeing. During her pregnancy, she faced unexpected challenges, but the unwavering support from her team allowed her to focus on her health and her newborn, receiving the flexibility she needed. This culture of care exemplifies Indeed’s commitment to its employees, creating a thriving community where careers and personal lives can flourish together.
Helping Clients Meet Their Hiring Goals—and Helping People Get Jobs
“I joined Indeed not too long after graduating from college. I held a variety of internships within the Client Success space as a student and discovered my love of analytics and developing relationships, which brought me to Enterprise Client Success at Indeed. Over the years, I have held six different titles on many different teams, all focusing on helping our Enterprise clients meet their hiring goals.”
"I’ve been at Indeed for nine years, and today I lead a team that focuses on our Enterprise Retail, Hospitality & Managed Services clients," Ava, Enterprise Client Success Manager shares. Prior to joining Leadership, Ava spent the majority of her time at Indeed as a Client Strategist. Here, Ava played a key role in helping large businesses with recruitment marketing strategies on Indeed, ensuring they meet their hiring goals while maximizing their return on investment (ROI).
Five years ago, Ava transitioned into a managerial role, where she now focuses on coaching others to do the same - helping our clients reach their goals, which in turn helps people get jobs.
Finding Reward in Team Growth and Success
When asked what the most rewarding part of the job is, the answer is simple: “Helping my team succeed.” Whether it’s hitting internal KPIs, achieving a client win, or watching them achieve their personal and career goals, Ava finds fulfillment in supporting the growth of others. “Seeing them meet and exceed their goals and growing as both Client Success Specialists and as humans is beyond fulfilling.”
A Culture of Care: How Indeed Supports Working Parents
Ava’s commitment to her role at Indeed is matched by the company’s commitment to her well-being, including when she made the decision to grow her family.
Throughout the entirety of my pregnancy, childbirth, and parental leave, I have never felt anything but fully supported and taken care of by Indeed.
When I was in my third trimester, my daughter and I were diagnosed with a growth restriction, and what was previously a very easy low-risk pregnancy quickly became high-risk with three appointments per week of various testing and scans and a whole lot of fear and worry.” Ava’s daughter was born happy and with a clean bill of health, but the road to get there was not easy. As many working parents know, finding ways to balance work commitments with life’s necessities and priorities can be a struggle. “My daughter had stopped growing at the 36-week mark, so I had to be induced a few weeks early - more than a week before my previously planned last day of work.”
“Due to the support of my director and my team, I was able to fully focus on making sure my daughter was okay and was given flexibility so that I could spend as long as needed with my medical team. The level of care and kindness from everyone I work with (my boss, my colleagues, and my direct reports) is on another level at Indeed. This isn’t just due to the people I work with but is very much part of our Indeed culture.”
Indeed’s Parental Leave: Above and Beyond
Ava’s support during her pregnancy doesn’t stop there. In 2023, Indeed expanded its already generous parental leave policy to offer 26 weeks of fully paid leave—an additional 10 weeks beyond what employees previously received. This change made a huge difference for this first-time mom. "As a new first-time Mom, there were so many challenges I was navigating on top of caring for a newborn - postpartum recovery, anemia, insomnia. I can’t imagine having to go back to work at 16 weeks postpartum, let alone sooner than that, which is sadly what many many parents in the US have to do to keep their employment. I’m grateful to Indeed every day for this.”

Why Indeed is More Than Just a Job
For Ava, Indeed has provided not only a fulfilling career but also a supportive environment for life’s most important moments. From helping people find jobs to providing a family-first culture, Indeed is more than just a workplace—it’s a community where employees and their families thrive.
Reflecting on nearly a decade with Indeed, Ava finds her work both rewarding and enriching. “I stay because not only do I love the work I do, especially now as a leader and team coach, but also because of Indeed, the people I am fortunate enough to work with, and our culture. Since the day I started, it’s never been boring. There is always a challenge to take on, a new puzzle to solve, or someone to help.“
