Dear Hiring Manager,

I'm pleased to submit my application for Grant Writer at Iron M. Circle Company. I'm a recent college graduate with two years of additional professional experience as an Assistant Grant Writer. With Iron M. Circle, I look forward to contributing to meaningful projects, continuing to improve my grant writing skills and collaborating with skilled professionals in my field.

I graduated cum laude from Anderfieldsberg College with a double major in English and Political Science. I've enjoyed opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills both inside and outside of school. In school, I learned about writing, editing, peer editing, budget management and public speaking. Outside the classroom, I've served as a summer Grant Writer Intern for one political campaign and one nonprofit. I feel these experiences have adequately prepared me for the professional world of grant writing.

I've always been passionate about changing the world for the better, and I feel that with the Iron M. team, I'd have the opportunity to do so. I'm particularly interested in the intersection of government programming and organizational responsibility and enjoy explaining how the two relate. This makes me an excellent grant writer, especially for an organization like yours that focuses on matching non-profits to the appropriate governmental aid.

I know that my training and interests perfectly align with this position, and I look forward to continuing my professional journey with the talented individuals that currently comprise the Iron M. Circle company. Should you have any further questions about my work history, skills or anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me by email. You're also welcome to call me at the phone number listed above, but please note that I'm usually unavailable from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Thank you for your time and your consideration. I look forward to further discussion.
