Blogging helps a company establish its voice and branding. It's also a way to show customers that the company has the resources and knowledge to help customers find what they need. Since I have a background in content writing, I am quite comfortable with blogging. I would love to work to make this company's blog even more comprehensive."
2. Why do you want to work for our company?
Employers want candidates who are genuinely interested in working for their company. This question helps them determine if you are passionate about this role. Do some company research to learn more about their clients, projects and initiatives. Look at things such as the company's work culture, values and mission statement. Provide two or three reasons why this would be a good company to work for.
Example: "While researching this position, I noticed that your company does a lot of nonprofit work. Eventually, we rebuilt our brand's reputation and resolved the issue with the customer."
5. What would you do if a campaign did not perform well?
Employers ask this question to learn more about your problem-solving skills. They want to know what steps you would take to make future campaigns more successful. In your answer, explain how you would learn from this experience and use what you observed to make your next campaign better. Share any real-life examples you have of this situation and how you handled them.
Example: "In my previous role, we held a contest to gain more leads. Unfortunately, we got significantly fewer entries than we anticipated. I did some research to find out why this happened and found out we were not spending enough money on our ads. This experience taught me that before starting a campaign, it's important to do thorough research about each aspect of the campaign.
You must consider things such as your budget, marketing methods and target audience. In the event of another unsuccessful campaign, I would use it as a learning experience. I would also put in extra work to look at the data and find areas where I can make cost-effective improvements."
6. How do you tailor a message to a target audience?
Employers ask this question to see what methods you use to create targeted messaging. They want to know if you have research skills to find out what marketing methods work for a target audience. In your answer, explain each step you would take to find out what kind of messaging is effective for your target audience. Think of what has worked in your previous professional experiences.
