Frequently asked questions

Do I need an Indeed account to participate in the Virtual Hiring Tour?

You do not need an Indeed account to participate in the Virtual Hiring Tour. You will be asked to provide your email address and phone number when you register as well as any additional information requested by the employer. You will use your email address and phone number to check-in the day of the event.

How do I know if a role is remote?

Employers will include important information about the role within the job description. This may include job requirements, necessary certifications and where the position is based. The job might be at a specific location, temporarily remote due to COVID-19 or permanently remote.

What should I wear to a virtual interview?

You should dress professionally for your virtual interview—the same way you would for an in-person interview. Research the company culture beforehand so you have a good idea of what’s appropriate. If you’re unsure, a button-down shirt with neutral slacks is a good option.
