How to become a Pharmacist

First, you will need to complete at least two years of undergraduate study, preferably in subjects such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, human anatomy and statistics. Then you will need to complete a doctorate degree program certified by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. Applicants to such programs will also need to pass the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT). Becoming a doctor of pharmacy takes at least three years of postgraduate study.
