Pros

Good teachers, Helpful career services

Cons

Inconvenient class hours - but that was 15 years ago. Alternative certification programs are very expensive.

Training was 3 weeks in the evenings. It was intensive but taught by actual teachers so the training was good. I learned a lot and felt prepared for a classroom when I completed training as well as you can be without having actually been in a classroom. The only thing missing from the experience that would improve it would have been some student teaching or internship, but you wouldn't get paid for that. At least with the alternative certification programs you can get hired to do your 1 year pre-service internship in an actual classroom and get paid for it.
