Pros

Good teachers, Hands-on training

The school itself was okay. The teacher helped a lot if you needed her. We had time to practice everything and ask questions. Everything was pretty much straight forward and easy. I was prepared for my exam. However, the clinical site was disgusting, and the level of care was not up to par. I would not want my family members housed there.

I went to this school when It was called Best Med Care , it started off unprofessional and unorganized. The teacher we were supposed to have quit before our first day so we had substitutes and sometimes had to teach our selves the curriculum. Thank goodness CNA is like common sense so it wasn’t difficult to execute . We had clinical at two nursing homes ; clinical gave you a feel for what it’d be like to be a CNA at a nursing home , Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but I could have been better I completed the program and got certified that was 4 years ago I’ve been hired at HCR Manorcare , Little Company of Mary hospital , and agencies such as ATC Healthcare , Nova Staffing , MSSI and Gale
