Learned a lot in a short amount of time. Learned how to tab my books and to write notes in the book. Received a mock version of the test to prepare you for the real test.

Medical Coding Certification Questions & Answers

What do people wish they knew before earning their Medical Coding Certification?

3,369 people answered

“I wish I knew more about the position available in the area I would be working. I would have liked to know what positions I would be qualified for beyond a medical coder and I would have liked to learn more than what was taught to me. I wish the materials were more current and thus would not have been out of date by the time I was working. The degree didn't open as many doors as I'd have liked but I still intend to make it work for me.”

“Be prepared for the test. It is a five hour test. Know medical terminology and read the front of your books as that is where all the guidelines to coding are.”
