Positive environment, The exam is given on the Friday afternoon of the week of the class.

The student needs a basis in Payroll before attending the CPP class. You must be an FPC prior. I took this class in the early 2000's while I was working at MI-Swaco in Houston.

Class two days a week for two hours about a year long and a 6 hour monitored testing. Testing sites are not all over the United States. Must study as the questions are a little geared to trip up regular knowledge of payroll and HR.

Cons

Some individuals have to drive a great distance to take the exam.

Other comments

As an instructor for the NCPA study group, we assure a quiet, relaxed environment. Instructors are certified CPP's or FPC's. The study is 6.5 hours every other Saturday and at least two chapters are covered each Saturday. Allowing students to take a week off for study has been very beneficial. Those in the study group always seem to bond and help one another with difficult calculations. Our chapter only charges $75 for the actual study group. The study materials and exam cost approximately $700.
