Cognitive communication skills & hands on training; it is not only necessary to know the physical aspects of CPR but how to talk to the person as well because you must have the ability to keep them calm.

The instructor teaches you hands on CPR training on plastic dummies and then you watch a long video about First Aid. Overall Im glad I did it because it feels good knowing that if a situation was to present itself and somebodies life depended on it, I feel confindent that I would be able to help save a life.
