Had a great preceptor and the University provided all the necessary courses and exams via mail. I felt that the combination of these two resources in addition to working the position full time did help me in my success.

Training sometimes could become very long because of the details and amount of reading required per assignment. Regardless, I was able to absorb a plethora of quality information that I wasn't expecting to learn or even have to know. My teacher was very open and welcoming to conversation and questions about anything throughout the entire course. Although the course was completely online, there were plenty of interactive opportunities that included step by step assistance and reassurance.

At AU you can learning a lot by reading but clinical should be mandatory. Luckily I passed my test with the help from the externship which was available after the program ended.

Access to online lectures and a discussion forum between other students helps a lot with any questions you may have on the weeks readings. Teachers communicate weekly through email and are there if you have any questions that your fellow classmates may not be able to answer.
