It was very informative and interesting. I learned a lot about things I wouldn’t even think about and also that it’s just really basic common sense. The changes people go through when we become older and how much help we may require. It has taught me a lot

A typical day of training would consist of going in a classroom setting with other students male or female listening to a RN with there BSN teach the students about CNA and what there job consist of then going over some Medical Terminology as the teacher is talking your taking notes because she tend to give pop up quiz every other day or say changing up the days then she went over how to handle the residents the proper way of brushing teeth such as giving bed baths showers, feeding weighing a resident to taking vitals. The last week we went to a nursing facility and did are Clinical and the last day of Clinical we had a test.

Not enough hands on training. The nursing home they chose to have students shadow at, was not helpful. Class hours were good. The teachers had a lot of former experience in the the healthcare field.
