After being required to attend class for 7 days a week for the first month the classes lighten up to 2 days a weeks 1/2 classes online and other in person. If you are not assigned a good internships you will have to go out and find your own, I’ve heard of people being hired right in at where they did their internship and other failing the internship for being unprofessional.

Pros

Good teachers, Positive environment

Cons

Inconvenient hours, hard to get help, not very affordable, lied to about opportunities

Other comments

Great people but the certification and degree gets you nowhere with employers when they look at this school and will laugh in your face. Promised a job as soon as I graduated but they left me high and dry. I was promised to make good money with it and after graduation was told I'd never make that kind of money.

I enjoyed this training opportunity and I especially enjoyed teaching the twenty four hour classes for the prospective foster parents. I met some wonderful people in these classes.

Good school, I learned a lot. teachers all great. Just didn't get a lot of hands on training, the externship I was placed at was for only a month and it was their really slow time of the year, and they had no intentions of hiring anyone. I did not learn half as much as I expected to during the externship, was disappointed with that part.

Pros

Flexible class hours, Hands-on training

Cons

Lack of career services and externship placement.

Other comments

A typical day of training were lots of test and lectures. I learned how to draw blood, administer injections and medications, the culture was diverse and the hardest part of training was obtaining a certain amount of successful draws and the most enjoyable part was the hands on experience along with the option of multiple choice testing.
