I enjoyed learning a new trade that was going to increase my knowledge and pay, teach me how to maintain and repair customers and my personal heating and air conditioning units. I like working with my hands so it was great that Centura College also offered hands on training environment and instructions. Also the instructors were great at teaching in class to prepare you for hands on training. Also I was able to take my EPA Certification exam for free at Centura College. The one thing that I noticed at this college was that they had a two story house with exposed HVAC air ducts, wiring, and air handler to show you how an air conditioning system is installed and for troubleshooting training. In addition they also had several condensers, air handlers, portable hotel AC units, refrigerators, compressors, and soldering equipment for hands on training. The college had great school counselors that would help you if had any questions concerning financial aid, classes, or any college issues. Overall I enjoyed taking heating and air conditioning courses at Centura College.

Good combination of classroom and hands-on training. Teachers really care and help you with preparing for job and doctors. I loved how involved the teachers were in making sure we were prepared for our testing.
