4.0

Pros

Positive environment, Good career preparation

Cons

Lack of time to continue training

Other comments

Login on site, register to class. Hardest part is the time to complete training, I was taking training whenever I had time available to continue training.

Other comments

Read the book and and take notes when needed. Watch any of the the video series, if possible. Everything else comes easily enough with experience or attempting to troubleshoot or build a personal device.

5.0

Pros

Flexible class hours

Other comments

Self directed learning. This was not a classroom. I studied on my own. Not a school. Need the cert for some government jobs. Not really appreciated in private sector, but should be.

5.0

Pros

Affordable, Hands-on training

Other comments

Good information available online from study materials, videos, and handbooks. I believe the newer tests are focused on Windows 8 and up so you do not need to focus on legacy (older) software/hardware.

Taking the ComTIA exam was difficult, but I studied and was able to do it. I would recommend it to other people. I have helped some other people gather items to study with.

Good information with a lot of videos and practice examples to make sure you know the material. Would recommend using this program if studying for this certification.

5.0

Pros

Good career preparation

Other comments

Online practice tests, books, simulations, and more. Study every day, make flash cards, take classes. There is no such thing as too much preparation for this test.

Other comments

Self learning in both reading materials and online videos. Practice exams online. Videos on YouTube, via Professor Messer. Practice exams both from CD in book and online purchased through CompTIA.

5.0

Pros

Good career preparation

Other comments

Good study material in a fast paced environment allowing you to Accelerate your learning or slow it down depending on your needs and wants. The trainings go deeper and deeper but the A+ gives you a foundation to build on

4.0

Pros

Good teachers, Positive environment, Good career preparation

Cons

There was a lot of information to absorb for a 1 week course.

Other comments

The course was mostly lecturing. It needs a combination of both lecturing and hands-on training. What I liked about the course was learning security concepts that I can use on the job and protect my home network. What I didn't like was that there was a lot of information to absorb for a course was condensed into 1 week.
