Other comments

Great classroom structure. Small classes equals more one on one with instructors. First part of course is classroom and second part is clinical. At the end of the course, I was able to pick 3 specialties that I would be interested in working at. All 3 interviewed with me and at the end I settled with the I.C.C.U. (intermediate cardiac care unit). I was set up with a preceptor for 6 weeks who signed off on my skills paperwork once completed. I was able to attend an open heart surgery and be in the O.R. with the surgeon through the whole surgery. I would recommend this program to anyone.

Pros

Flexible class hours, Hands-on training

Cons

Dummy can be frustrating to get right

Other comments

The hands on dummy can be frustrating to get compression just right, it may seem like you are doing each the same or you do practice and get it right and then do assessment and don’t do as well. The baby is easy to do with a ambu bag mask
