A day of training was during work hours. Classes topk place in a open gymnasium. The teachers trained us well and gave accurate instructions. We were taught basic defensive strategies and proper ways to subdue a student without inflicting pain or physical harm. The only challenge was the physical aspects but after a few tries it was easy to accomplish. Overall the class was enjoyable and a good ice breaker for me and my co-workers.

Positive environment

Learned about physical engagement to manage a crisis. Learned specific martial arts moves and defensive techniques. Good for becoming a successful paraprofessional.
