Pros

Good teachers, Positive environment, Hands-on training

Cons

Hours are after work which is good but classes tend to run into late evening. Also course is only to learn basics, need more specific training for work place.

Other comments

Typical day of training consists of metal prep, overview of tools, fastener overview, blueprinting and assembly construction. My instructor at that time was Wayne Merritt and he was a patient and knowledgeable instructor, I learned a lot from him.

Not sure what all forklift certification will help with in future jobs but it’s easy and worth adding to your resume for skills or certifications. Easy equipment to operate.
