Pros

Flexible class hours, Good teachers, Positive environment, Good career preparation, Hands-on training

Cons

Since the commute was often a challenge, our instructor would wait until the majority of the students had arrived before beginning the class.

Other comments

Our instructor was very hands-on and willing to take questions no matter or silly they seemed. Our course was on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00. During the first 5 weeks, we did full-time classroom learning and covered modern JavaScript programming techniques. During the last 5 weeks, we used Tuesday as a refresher from the previous week and Thursday as a lab day where we could work on whatever we wanted that pertained to the course. The end goal was for to have built a fully working Single Page Application that passed data through a MongoDB database using Mongoose as a helper tool and then finally deploy our app using Amazon Web Services.

Flexible class hours, Affordable

Cons

The scheduling process.

Other comments

It was a fine course. I wasn’t in love with the online platform and meeting with a mentor weekly as my schedule would change so much that I ended up missing out on the mentoring.
