The Automotive Program in specific was one of the best imaginable. The network you gain access to, and the experience of the instructors (namely Travis Pike) was beyond incredible. Definitely prepared me for an Automotive Career and gave me the connections needed to find work as well. 10/10

I enjoyed this school very much. I went to Kearsley High School but I was dual enrolled to attend this facility. It gave me hands on training that was not offered at a regular high school.

It was fun and I learned skills I wouldn’t have at my traditional high school. It was stressful at times but was way worth it. If you can take advantage of GCI you definitely should.

Good hands on experience with one of the best teachers. I learned so much I thought I knew but didn’t and I always found new ways to do things. My teacher never turned down any one and it was just a positive environment.

Cons

Early hours.

The class was overall very hands on. You did a lot of partner work. A typical day was to take notes, then after you were free to do what you needed.

Pros

Good teachers, Affordable, Helpful career services, Positive environment, Hands-on training

Cons

Not enough hands on one on one with the residents for clinicals. They never let students transfer the residents.

Other comments

Great program. School no longer exists. They provided good information, but when it came to clinicals they did not let the students transfer the residents. It wasn’t until I started working as a CNA that I was really able to use the skills I learned.

There’s many programs to choose from depending on what career interests you. It’s a very face past, college like class. It’s available for juniors and seniors. Some cases, freshman and sophomores.

Great explanation and training exercises. It allowed enough time for students that may have been struggling without wasting any time. I recommend getting training just because it easy and a lot of jobs appreciate the certificate.
