Entree level EMT school. It is required prior to moving onto the next step on the EMS ladder. That step back then included cardiac technicians and finally paramedic. The paramedics in Georgia at the time we’re licensed thru the composite state board of medical examiners where as the EMT's were certified by the state dept of health.
