Each weekend we would learn about muscle groups and then practice techniques we learned from books. We learned all the names of the muscle groups and their relationships to each other. As well, we learned the background of reflexology as an art and science, discussed the anatomical goals of the art and how to skillfully apply biomechanics during a typical session with a client. As adjunct work, we learned about essential oils and their impact on our minds.

Pros

Good teachers, Affordable, Positive environment, Good career preparation, Hands-on training

Cons

The summer semester offered no breaks that a traditional school would, which meant classes for 9 months straight.

Other comments

Good combination of lecture and hands on work. The teachers are accommodating to the different ways that students learn, and encourage them to advocate for themselves and their needs.
