I am trying to focus on switching my career to only training and nutrition to help people. The hardest part is not always having clients. I have learned a lot about the training career and nutrition isn't about just working out and eating right, there is more to the career.

It is a self taught and your own pace kind of certification. The hardest part is being sure to teach yourself to where you really understand the material and not just memorizing it.

Pros

Flexible class hours, Affordable.

Other comments

It was a good mixture of science, business, and the dynamics of training. It even focused some on the mental aspects. There wasn't much culture built into it because it was self paced online program. The hardest part for me, just like my medical classes that I take, are remembering the insertion and origins of the muscles. But I do love the fact that I can use this knowledge to better a person's overall heart and help them reach goals.

Pros

Flexible class hours, Helpful career services, Good career preparation

Other comments

Training included a lecture, written assignment, quizzes, and a final exam. The hardest part of training was not having a specific deadline for the class. The most enjoyable part was it being self-paced.
