Cons

No classroom hrs.

All online but you learn a lot of valuable information. I would recommend it if you are working fulltime and you don't have time to sit in a classroom you can learn at your own pace this way.

Great, self paced design that allowed me to firmly grasp the information. The material is very detailed and lengthy but the work book go hand in hand with the given material.

The ISSA personal trainer certification is one of the unique organizations on the market. I call it the international certification. ISSA certification is accredited with Distance Education Accrediting Commission, DEAC and not the common NCCA. ISSA certification is well recognized in the industry. The International Sports Sciences Association was founded in 1988. Currently, there are over 200,000 trainers in 91 different countries that are certified with ISSA. ISSA is a general certification with a slight emphasis on performance/body composition training.

A typical day of training would consist of lots of reading and research. What you learned is general fitness involved in exercise prescription and instruction. How to motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability to clients. The hardest part of the training is finding time. The most enjoyable part of the training is once you grasp the understanding of things. Everything is easier and it's interesting if you love fitness.

I'm a big fitness addict m K self and they go even more in depth another human body in how to make you clients look the best way they can even helping them with the complications that they of have. Kn the process also with the clients having fun at the same time. Knowing you have greatly change of someone's life and made it even better makes you feel ten times a better.

The exam is challenging. You must write a detailed and personalized work out and meal plan. What they're expecting of you is probably more than real life clients, so if you can do the exam and pass, you can do it in real life.
