Hands on learning. I learned the importance of whatever I expected, dependent whatever effort I put into it to be successful. If I ever fell short, it was my responsibility to do better. Inclusivity. It was being away from my young family. I succeeded against all odds.

Small class size and good daily schedule to allow working part-time while in school. The remainder of this review is to satisfy the 150 character limit.

My professor did a great job. He understands that most of his students are working or have families at home. He did a great job at explaining situations and putting his students in a real life situation which greatly helped me in my current job as a cna.

I learned how to fax. Schedule apts, test urine for pregnancy, protein in urine and how to set-up room for pap-smears. The hardest part for me at the time was taking a manual blood pressure and giving injections to small children. We had many busy days but I enjoyed every bit of it.

During my time going to school @ KCKCC, I was attending high school in the afternoon. I always stayed on top of my work and made sure I was ahead of most, and I managed to achieve something I’ve already wanted to.

I didn't do much hands on but I did do a lot of volunteering so I knew a lot already. My medication was mainly studying the medication and what they were for.

Cons

Administration

Other comments

Training was okay I guess most of the time was in class two weeks hands on. I would have preferred more hands on than book work when what we learn in the book wasn’t even on the test. Enjoyed working with the residents that are very funny and gave a lot of great memories.
