If you're given the chance to learn a new skill without having to spend a single dime from your pocket, seize it immediately. It goes without saying that we tend to lack the resources to take the chance to acquire brand new knowledge or learn a new skill. Thankfully, through Workforce Solutions and Laredo College, the chance was presented and I took it. One of best recent decisions I've ever made.

It was a great experience. I loved the overall experience of learning new things and meeting new people. I loved working with children and learning their different behaviors. It was difficult with the long hours and unfortunately I didn't finish with my bachelors because i was a single mother, but everything that I did learn I put it to use as a mother. I learned that hands on was a better experience and a way better way to learn faster. And working with children is harder than expected because of all the moods that you have to learn to experience with them. I would definitely do all over again if I had to.
