A worthwhile experience in learning how to effectively communicative with people different from you. I'd recommend even for people with an advanced knowledge of race and discrimination, as it gave concrete ways to have productive conversations with people you disagree with.

What advice would you give to someone interested in earning their Bachelor's Degree?

“The degree I earned helped me think through my beliefs and because of that I became a better teacher. Take as many classes to start with as you can, because the closer you get to the finish line, the more scenarios you'll have wanting to be done. Take the time you need to recharge, get a job if you need to make ends meet or if you want to learn to balance better. Be sure to weigh the cost of your degree with the average wage you will make in this field.”
