It was probably 80% of hands on training and 20% text book. Trained by a Chief, petty officer. We learned all related machinery, trouble shooting and operation. The worst part was cleaning tubes and the fire box

Excellent classroom experience for beginners with no training in the health care field. Great teachers with lots of knowledge. Flexible hours for students with children. Great training with lots of hands on experience. Lots of studying required, but it will pay off in the end. Pleasant environment to work in.

Everything was taught hands on I went for gas turbines systems mechanical engineering, were I was a full time student class 4 days a week 8 hours a day then we would test on every Friday for 7 months

US Navy. Decent combination of hands on training. Plenty of time spent in the schoolhouse. Competitive environment and falling behind is not an option.

Fast paced and intensive courses. A stringent testing schedule. Life like simulators for trouble shooting electromechanical motorcontrollers and three phase 440V power generation and distribution.

The US Navy Hospital Corps program is an outstanding program, teaches you a lot and can be a great step for someone interested in a career in the medical field.

It was a super fast paced course with a 80% failure rate due to extreme schedule and little forgiveness in failure. it was a practical instruction and a lot of hands on school.

the United States Navy gave me the tools I needed to be a functioning adult by teaching me punctuality and discipline. They offered multiple job training and dental assistant and medical training I could use for the my shipmates in the military and in the outside world.
