Good starting point for a medical assistant. Learned basic principle of patient care and first aid procedures, anatomy and physiology and trauma management.

This program was part of my tour of duty during my 20 years in the navy. The program was an excellent way to learn new life skills to prepare for civilian life.

Good teachers, Affordable, Positive environment, Good career preparation, Hands-on training, I got paid to go to school and it only cost 4 years of enlistment!

Cons

Have to want to enlist in the military, and that's not for everyone

The program has been moved to San Antonio, TX. The instructors were tough but fair. The atmosphere was designed to maximize learning and develop students' skills.
