There was hands on experience. We went to several nursing homes and worked 12 hours a week. Throughout the CNA class we learned medical terminology, how to care for patients, cleanliness, etc.

Very comprehensive 1 year program learned how to rebuild ice machines,furnaces, heat pumps, and small appliances all the way to washer/dryer repair and trained to survive furnace and air conditioners.
