Great to get a head start while in high school in a career field that you’re passionate about. We did clinicals at a local nursing home where we shadowed many nurses aides. It was an informative program and very nice to go through with our instructor, she was there for us students and made learning this trade fun.

Pros

Good teachers, Positive environment

Cons

Not a lot of shop time. No in depth of engine tear down and repair. Mostly class work.

Other comments

I wish the program was more hands on, and we learned more about the new technology coming out on the diesel engines. There wasn't any in depth tear down of the engines or a lot of shop experience.
