Good combination of class room and hands on. You’ll spend most of you time on the shop door doing hands on and other time learning the information so that you can’t apply the knowledge you have gained.

My decision to join the Mississippi National Guard led to me obtaining this certification. All though it was a tough to learn from Higher ranked soldiers cause they could have me doing push ups outside the school house one minute and then bragging on my weld the next, they put they solider pride to the side when it was time to teach and it was strictly school work once we got inside.

The hands on training introduced me to new materials in the work environment. The instructors were helpful in explaining was the major was about during class time.
