Pros

Good teachers

Only prepared me to pass CDL test, you then have to learn to drive at a starter company. You don't make much money in your first year of driving class A.

4.0

Pros

Flexible class hours, Hands-on training

Cons

As mentioned above, the instructor could have been more engaged

Other comments

Teacher was a little hands-off but overall a good program. I would have definitely enjoyed more experience outside of written exams but the basic OSHA safety certificate didn't require much.

Lectures, clinicals, hands on skills training. Excellent instructors, tutors and overall support and encouragement. Life long EMS family! Enjoyed every minute missed it when classes were over.

Pros

Good teachers, Affordable, Helpful career services, Positive environment, Good career preparation, Hands-on training

You had to be hands on with the animals and always present for class. The instructor had a ton of experience with dealing with animals. She wanted to see us participate hands on one on one. With no fear with getting our hands dirty.

Cons

Negative enrollment

Other comments

Not very helpful in terms of the HPOG Grant, no one cared, I would not enter into that program or school again. For a direct work program, they don't really care about the result

Pretty good school. Teachers were helpful. Many of the classes were hands on. They had you participate. They wanted everyone to be successful. Online was a bit difficult if you didn't stay on task.

Great teachers and classmates, a lot of hands on learning. If you are interested in healthcare but do not know what you want to do yet this a great way to get your foot in the door and learn a great base knowledge.

Pima Community College was a really good option in comparison to the other couple of truck driving schools in town. The classes are small, there’s more available on the road training.
