I enjoyed the class. It only took 2 weeks to earn it. I enjoyed the hands-on approach rather than doing an online version. All together, I think I made a good choice.

It was a great program I learned a lot. But I want more in my life. So I decided to go back to school,to be a social worker. I want to make this a better place for kids. I always wanted to help people that need help in their lives. I also want to become a foster parent.

Lots of hands on experience with tig, mig, oxy, stick, and plasma cutting, also familiar with metal cutting machines and drill presses. Class consisted mostly of welding and hands on but also book work and safety tests.

Good teachers, Hands-on training

Cons

Supervisors/or the seniority were really disrespectful to the newer staff.

We were paid as students and received an increase if and when we completed the coursework and training. We were then eligible to apply for open positions in any department. The only condition was that we commit to two years of employment.

It was 20 years ago. Obviously, it was good training, considering I've been doing it this long. I have loved meeting so many coworkers and patients and their families. The medical field just amazed me.

I like the course material you learn because it’s important to know the medications such as what they do, the side effects, when to see a doctor as well.

Shows you what's safe and what's not in a warehouse/ construction area. Teaches you what will be in your surroundings and how to deal with the things around you.
