Good combination of classroom and hands on learning. Great teacher and classmates. I learned a lot about caring for the elderly and tending to their needs and wants. I enjoyed learning everything I needed to know to become the good CNA that I am today.

Pros

Flexible class hours, Good teachers, Positive environment, Hands-on training

Cons

Everything was text book. Many videos regarding CNA work do well with providing you information but don't provide real world situations or responses. I feel that they should focus more on uncomfortable situations and what to do when nothing you do is convincing the resident to allow you to provide care.

We were able to go through an appropriate amount of information without feeling overwhelmed. I loved how often we were able to practice our skills whether it was with each other or on a dummy. We took test over the material frequently so we always knew what it was we needed to work on and everyone had fun.
