The training was very helpful in providing guidance to all the materials to be tested. It is also a refresher for me since its been a long that that I graduated. Overall its a great experience that enhances communication among all the attendees.

Pros

Good teachers, Positive environment

Very knowledgeable teachers who've been teaching this for years. Teachers do a good job keeping up with latest 'trick' questions. Teachers point out beneficial books to purchase and bring to the test. If you've been out of school for a while, it seems like they are going fast and you aren't absorbing everything (you're absorbing enough). This is just more preparation for the 2nd half of the test, which is very rushed.

Pros

Good teachers, Affordable

Other comments

Pros: extensive amount of material given with good examples. Material had great summaries of topics as well. And everything was downloadable to pdf for printing and later use. Cons: its a crash course so instructors have limited time to dive deep or stray for questions. Some better organization of the massive amount of data they provide would have been nice.

Pros

Flexible class hours, Good career preparation

Cons

Mixed teachers.

Other comments

It was a good combination of problem sets and conceptual work, covering the breadth and depth sections of the PE exam for Water Resources. Some of the teachers were not good though.

5.0

Pros

Good teachers, Helpful career services, Positive environment, Good career preparation, Hands-on training

Cons

Because the classes are live there is a set time frame. 4 PM-7:30 PM PST, Monday-Thursday

Other comments

The classes are live with text interesting with the professor. Each subject has a professional from that field. Lectures notes are provided for you to follow along and allow you to take your own notes. If you miss a class or want to re-watch, the class is posted next day. Every topic they touched on was on the FE exam. They provide plenty of workshop problems and solutions.

Pros

Flexible class hours, Good teachers

Other comments

Good examples and excellent review material. Highly helped on my exam instead more than using the "mandatory" handbooks. I mostly took the online courses and didn't do a lot of study outside the "class time", and still helped me in passing the PE.

Pros

Good teachers, Applicable content

Cons

3-4 hours a day, 4 days a week, 6 weeks

Other comments

This program is a great combination of incredibly insightful lecture, plenty of practice examples, and practical exam problems that I then saw on the exam, or similar concepts.

Pros

Good teachers, Affordable

Cons

Review format was 8 hours saturday and 8 sunday for 5 weeks, it was tough.

Other comments

Good structure and instructors were friendly and very knowledgeable. They had good tools to use online lectures, but not all teachers used them. They gave good review questions and notes that you can take to the exam. Also get the reference book and use it while you take the review class. Do a practice test ,and study extra on your own.
