I had been given a book about the certification and had to retain as much as I could within one week. After a week, I tested and got Universal. I am glad I pushed myself instead of stopping with Type I or Type II.

Often hard to follow lesson structure. Instructors were clearly knowledgeable, but had no training as teachers and were unable to keep a class engaged.

The class for my training about this certificate was a bit different than others. I had to study and test all within one week. I studied hard and learned what I could, then ended up with a Universal Certification.

Reading laws regarding the history of refrigerant and what effects it has on the environment as well as proper handling, storage and disposal of it. I also learned the science of refrigerant and how it’s used to cool warm spaces. The hardest part was remembering laws.

Great class. You learn the material and the provide hands on and take a final exam to show comprehension of material. Once you complete class you are well prepared to go to your duty station and perform tasks.

Excellent combination of classroom and hands on training. There was a lot to learn about the Air Force and of the medications. I didn’t know that during this school, we would do more than just know what medication is given for what aliment.
