Fantastic professors who have hands on and in field experience are put in the classroom to really help give students a feel for the career field and give different views of the different fields of social work. There is no one field represented so students get a wide range of information varying from macro to mirco level positions. Classes do a fantastic job at promoting diversity and cultural competence among students.

Attended classes in the evenings and on Saturdays. Learned micro/macro aspects of social work, working with groups and individually. Teachers were experts in their field of study. Hardest part of training was working, going to school and doing internship. Most enjoyable part of training was making new friends and future networking.

The professors have a lot of knowledge about the subjects they teach. Sometimes it was hard to get a response from them when working online. The online classes are a little harder than the in class options due to not having the professor there to explain things better.

The program was both undergraduate and graduate. I had a field placement for both undergraduate and graduate school. I completed the process and received my licensed independent social worker, LISW. I have continued to complete the required 30 hours of continued education to maintain my LISW licensure.
