Student reviews
I am currently a CPC apprentice. I just recently passed the exam. The program allowed one year of experience at graduation, and I will need another year to drop the apprentice status from my credential.
The LMSW licensure can open up other opportunities. You are able to practice in your field and most jobs require a license. You do not need your license, there are many jobs that pay well without the use of one. However, if you are interested in mental health, more than likely it will be required. Most including myself then go on to obtain full licensure as an LCSW, allowing you to practice independently and be able to diagnose. Overall if you want to pursue a field in mental health services, obtaining a LMSW will be key in further career and job opportunities.
The classes were defined on specific topics which let you dig deep into each topic. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and made sure you understood every step of the class. They also allowed to interact in a class effort and alone. You got see both sides of the spectrum.
Professional easily accessed. Lessons were easy to navigate while working two jobs. Professors were flexible lesson were user friendly. Curriculum easy to use
It is an awesome certification if you are in Safety. There are two certifications that are really needed in Safety. The first is the CSHO, Certified Safety and Health Officer and the SHEP, Safety Health and Environmental Professional. I got both through the university of Texas Arlington. It takes a while but it is worth it.
