There was a good combination of classes and OSHA regulations were thoroughly covered. The in-class assignments helped me prepare for the assessment and tested my understanding of the subject materials.

Pros

Good teachers, Positive environment, Good career preparation, Hands-on training

Cons

Not easy to find projects. Much of the work need to be done yourself. Could put you against the clock to start and finish a project.

Other comments

Trainings were once a week All day (8 hour class) for 12 days. I learned how to effectively use Lean Six Sigma tools to help nearly all types of businesses (not just manufacturing). The culture was uplifting in class. The money saved outside of class often entailed hard work. The hardest part of the training were any tools that had to be used in the worked placed that were glanced over during class due to time limitations. The most enjoyable part of the training was applying the tools to a company in the real world and getting to save a company 100k + yearly with controls set in place by the end of the class.

Pros

Good teachers, Affordable, Good career preparation, Can be done after work and over several months to accommodate employment schedules.

Cons

Industry changing faster than the classes can be updated.

Other comments

An excellent program, but has changed significantly in recent years to reflect changes in the industry. Style is a traditional college semester class. Teachers are industry experts. This is hard work & you're expected to achieve a significant level of mastery.
